After a successful launch in October 2007, City Journalist Directory
(www.CityJournalistDirectory.com) has been very successful in building up a solid
global database of images that have been sourced from members across 5 continents.
To compliment the Image Directory August 7, 2008 sees the start of a new monthly
feature :- Monthly Image Competition. Each month the winning image will receive a
voucher to the value of 200 US Dollars ( Two Hundred US Dollars) which will be
either a cash voucher or a goods voucher which will give the winning image owner the
opportunity to redeem the voucher for camera and film equipment from an
international camera supplier
During 2008 some great images have featured as the 'Scoop of the Day' another show
profile that has proved very popular as the most interesting photo of the day is
showcased as the days feature. The source of these 'Scoop' images this month alone
have been from South Africa, Latvia, China, Brazil, Russia, Estonia endorsing that
images are sourced from all over the world
